Topher Grace and Wilmer Valderrama — aka Eric Forman and Fez from That ’70s Show — are out here reminding us that real friendship does exist, and it’s even cuter than Red threatening to put a foot up someone’s behind.
Topher, now a seasoned 46-year-old snack, spilled some serious friendship tea on Wilmer’s podcast, “Dos Amigos” (which honestly sounds like a tequila brand we would totally buy). Reflecting on their first days of filming the hit sitcom, Topher said, “You and I had this incredible connection from day one. I mean, we basically became BFFs before the first laugh track even hit.”
(Cue audience “awww” sounds)
Apparently, the bromance wasn’t just for the cameras. Topher confessed he basically moved into Wilmer’s family home like an unofficial extra sibling. “I would crash at his place, hang out with his sisters, eat all their food… It was magical. Also confusing, because suddenly people were recognizing me at the mall, but at least I had a built-in therapy buddy who also didn’t know what the heck was happening.”
Wilmer, who is 45 but still somehow looks like he just graduated high school, was feeling the love too. “It changed my whole life, bro,” Wilmer said, wiping away a single tear (probably). “I had only been in the U.S. for a few years. His family literally adopted me like I was a lost puppy.”
Topher then hit us with this glorious image: “Yeah, he literally slept in my bunk bed.”
Bunk beds, y’all.
Two future TV icons, probably arguing over who gets the top bunk and sharing fruit snacks like kindergarteners.
Friendship goals? Achieved.
Sitcom magic? Delivered.
Our hearts? Full.
If your best friend hasn’t offered you a spot in their bunk bed, are they even your best friend???
