Taylor Swift just proved she’s the ultimate BFF by showering Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco with enough praise to fill a stadium (which, honestly, she could probably do in real life).
On Friday (March 21), Selena, 32, and her fiancé-slash-music-man Benny Blanco, 37, decided the world needed some fresh tunes and dropped their new joint album, I Said I Love You First. And apparently, Taylor, 35, loved it so much that she nearly exploded with excitement.
The next day, Taylor ran to her Instagram Story like a fan at a midnight album release and typed in all caps:
“@selenagomezs & @itsbennyblanco I LOVE THIS ALBUM SO MUCH. OH MY GODDDDDDDDDDDD.”
That’s right. Not one, not two, but an entire avalanche of D’s. This is a woman who felt something.
She even added a screenshot of the album on Spotify, because in case you didn’t know, Taylor Swift is also an unpaid music promoter when she’s not ruling the world.
Meanwhile, in an interview, Selena casually admitted that she was “mortified” at one of Taylor’s parties with Benny. No details yet, but we assume it involved an awkward dance move, spilling wine on a celebrity, or accidentally mistaking Beyoncé’s coat for a blanket.
Oh, and as if dropping an album wasn’t enough, Selena and Benny also graced us with a music video for their song Younger and Hotter Than Me, which is either about self-confidence or a personal attack on all of us.
