Shia LaBeouf is stepping back into the Hollywood ring (literally and metaphorically) with his new movie, Salvable, and the trailer just dropped!
The 38-year-old actor, who last graced our screens in Megalopolis (a movie so mysterious it may or may not actually exist), returns with an accent that will have you questioning both geography and reality. This time, he’s throwing punches alongside Toby Kebbell, who plays a boxer in need of a comeback—because what’s a sports drama without a washed-up guy trying to win back his dignity?
Plot Twist (Or Not?)
The film follows a once-great boxer whose career, love life, and probably his Wi-Fi connection are all falling apart. With nowhere else to turn, he makes the totally logical decision of getting involved with some Very Bad People™—because why not make life harder? Now, he must step into the ring for one final, high-stakes fight, where the prize isn’t just a belt, but also his dignity, his dreams, and maybe even his ability to afford rent.
Who’s Behind This Madness?
Salvable comes from the creative minds of Bjorn Franklin (who wrote it) and Johnny Marchetta (who co-directed it). These two clearly woke up one day and said, “What if Rocky had even worse life choices?” And thus, Salvable was born.
When Can You Watch Shia Make Questionable Decisions?
Mark your calendars, because Salvable hits theaters on May 2nd! And if you’re the kind of person who doesn’t like putting on pants, don’t worry—it’ll also be available on demand and digital the same day.
So go ahead, watch the trailer now, and start mentally preparing for a film where boxing, bad ideas, and brooding stares collide in spectacular fashion!
