She’s Baaack! Jenna Ortega Haunts Our Screens Again in Spooky ‘Wednesday’ Season 2 Teaser

Buy Me A Coffee

Grab your black eyeliner and practice your deadpan stare—Wednesday Season 2 is creeping its way back onto Netflix!

During the Next on Netflix 2025 event (which, honestly, sounds like a séance for streaming content), the platform dropped a chilling teaser for the much-anticipated second season of the hit show starring everyone’s favorite goth queen, Jenna Ortega.

What’s in the Teaser?
Brace yourself—it’s a vibe. The clip opens with the gates of Willowhill, a psychiatric hospital that sounds like the kind of place where you go in for “mild anxiety” and leave with a ghost haunting your reflection. This is where Francoise Galpin—aka the woman who literally turned into a rampaging Hyde monster—was locked up after unleashing her inner beast (and, honestly, same).

If your memory is foggier than a haunted mansion, Francoise was the dearly departed mother of Tyler Galpin (Hunter Doohan), who went from Wednesday’s cute coffee-slinging crush to full-blown villain faster than you can say “Nevermore Academy.” Oh, and fun fact: Francoise used to be besties with Morticia Addams (Catherine Zeta-Jones), because of course she did.

But wait—there’s more drama incoming! The teaser also shows Tyler in chains, giving very much “misunderstood werewolf in a YA novel,” while Wednesday stares him down like she’s deciding whether to free him or just make a sarcastic remark and walk away. Classic Wednesday.

When Do We Get the Full Madness?
Netflix is being its usual mysterious, brooding self and hasn’t given us an exact release date, but we do know Season 2 is dropping sometime in 2025. So, for now, stock up on black outfits, start perfecting your soul-piercing glare, and—most importantly—stay tuned!
