Scarlett Johansson just dropped into Saturday Night Live like, “Hey besties, mind if I crash the party as blonde nepotism incarnate?” That’s right — ScarJo made a surprise cameo as Ivanka Trump in a wildly unhinged White Lotus-inspired fever dream titled The White POTUS. And yes, it’s exactly the kind of mess that makes you clutch your pearls and your remote.
Scarlett, who also moonlights as the wife of SNL’s resident Weekend Update zaddy Colin Jost, decided to embody Ivanka with a mix of deadpan stares, high-budget highlights, and the energy of someone who’s just found out their trust fund got taxed.
The sketch reimagines the Trump clan as if they’d checked into The White Lotus but forgot to pack common sense. Picture: the entire Trump dynasty trapped in a luxury resort with vibes straight out of a Florida man’s dream journal.
Cast lineup in this madness? Oh, it’s stacked:
– James Austin Johnson gives his usual unhinged orange goblin Donald Trump realness.
– Chloe Fineman channels Melania with a southern accent (because why not?), giving strong “I’m not from here, y’all” energy.
– Mikey Day plays Don Jr., who’s basically that guy who brings a Bluetooth speaker to a funeral.
– Alex Moffat resurrects Eric Trump, aka your cousin who still thinks YouTube pranks are peak comedy.
– Kenan Thompson is somehow Tiger Woods, because this sketch is powered by chaos and caffeine.
– Sarah Sherman shows up as a Chelsea type who’s probably on her sixth Aperol Spritz.
– Jon Hamm plays RFK Jr. with the kind of intensity usually reserved for dads who won’t stop talking about crypto.
– Lizzo, queen of everything, pops up like a sassy Belinda ready to snatch wigs and serve mimosas.
– Beck Bennett is Vladimir Putin, because SNL refuses to let any geopolitical figure live.
– Ashley Padilla, Heidi Gardner, and Marcello Hernández round out the chaos as Pam Bondi, Kristi Noem, and Marco Rubio — basically, Florida’s Avengers.
AND JUST WHEN YOU THOUGHT THIS JENGA TOWER OF CASTING WAS FULL — boom! Jon Gries, a.k.a. Greg from The White Lotus, pops up like, “Hey, I heard there was a Trump parody and I couldn’t resist.”
The sketch doesn’t just roast the Trumps — it flambés them, flamboyantly and with extra butter. The fake plot revolves around Trump’s wild new tariff plan which tanked the stock market faster than you can say “unverified tax returns.”
If HBO and the History Channel had a baby — and that baby was raised by Twitter — this sketch would be it. You need to watch The White POTUS, if only to see Scarlett Johansson go full Ivanka and prove that nepotism really can be funny if you squint hard enough.
Go watch it. Laugh. Cry. Text your group chat. Then ask yourself: “Did I just see Kenan Thompson play Tiger Woods in a White Lotus parody about the Trumps?” Yes. Yes, you did. Welcome to 2025.
