Fashion designer and certified multitasking queen Rebecca Minkoff has officially bid adieu to The Real Housewives of New York City faster than a designer handbag on sale.
After just one season as a Friend Of (a.k.a. a Housewife without the Bravo paycheck), Minkoff, 42, took to Instagram on Tuesday night (February 4) to confirm what the rumor mill had already been churning out: she’s out.
“2025 is a new beginning for me,” she wrote, clearly realizing that flinging cocktails and dodging passive-aggressive dinner party insults isn’t the pinnacle of human experience. “With everything happening in the world, I’m reminded of what really matters: family, friends, and community.”
Translation? Y’all are exhausting, and I have better things to do.
She went on to list those very things, including her “wildly amazing” four kids (we assume they are, in fact, feral), her rock-solid husband, her fashion empire of 20 years, the Female Founder Collective, a podcast, and… a BOOK. Yes, Minkoff is a woman with an agenda, and it does not include arguing over who texted who during a charity gala.
“While I’ve learned a lot from this franchise and the fans, I need to refocus on the things that actually fulfill me: designing, giving back, supporting women, and raising my family,” she wrote, subtly suggesting that screaming at brunch was not on her vision board.
She ended her farewell with gratitude, thanking the show, the friendships, and the fans before announcing, “Time to turn the page.”
Translation, again? This chapter is closed, and y’all can keep your petty drama.
And just like that, Rebecca Minkoff sashays away, proving that sometimes the most fashionable move… is the exit.
