Pete Davidson has dated some of the most famous women on the planet, but when Kim Kardashian’s name came up recently, his response was less “fond nostalgia” and more “PTSD flashback.”
Pete sat down with comedians Luenell and John Mulaney on Everybody’s Live with John Mulaney when Luenell, clearly channeling the thoughts of the entire internet, asked about his impressive dating history. She went straight for the big one, saying, “I want to know the mystique. Now you’ve had Kim K.”
Cue Pete immediately spiraling.
The man quite literally face-palmed and, between wheezes of laughter, blurted out, “Oh God!” You know, the universal phrase for when you remember something you’re trying very hard to forget.
Now, is that the reaction Kim was hoping for? Probably not. But is it the one we all expected? Absolutely.
Luenell, clearly on a roll, pointed out Pete’s long list of high-profile exes and his current girlfriend, supermodel Elsie Hewitt, before shooting her shot and demanding Pete take her out on a date.
Pete, now desperate for an escape hatch, turned to Mulaney and clapped his hands, deadpan, “If that’s what it takes to stop this.”
For those who somehow missed it (congrats on your peaceful, Wi-Fi-free cave), Pete and Kim dated for nine whole months back in 2021 after meeting on Saturday Night Live. According to sources, they split due to “busy schedules” and “long-distance issues.”
Translation: Pete ran out of bleach for his platinum hair and Kim realized she was dating a man who regularly jokes about living in his mom’s basement.
And now? Pete’s laughing. Kim’s probably texting Kris for damage control. And Luenell? She’s out here shooting her shot. A legend.
