Hayley Williams had a little celebrity shout-out moment at Wembley Stadium in London on Saturday night (August 17), and it was nothing short of a showstopper. While rocking out as one of the opening acts for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, Hayley decided to sprinkle some star-studded magic on the crowd by sending a love note to Robert Pattinson—aka Edward Cullen, the vampire who probably sparkles more than a disco ball.
Now, Robert’s fiancée Suki Waterhouse had just finished her set, and Hayley seized the moment to give a cheeky nod to her Hollywood beau. With a grin that could light up the darkest of vampire lairs, Hayley called out, “I’d like to dedicate this next song to Mr. Waterhouse.” Yes, you heard that right, Mr. Waterhouse, because we all know who’s really got the sparkle in this relationship.
In a move that had fans giggling and probably blushing, Hayley added, “He has the skin of a killer, Bella. It’s for you, Robert.” And with that, she launched into “Decode,” the track that made its debut on the Twilight soundtrack—because, of course, nothing says “I love you” like a song about secret vampire lives and glittering skin.
As for Robert? He might not have made it onto the jumbotron, but plenty of fans were convinced he was somewhere in the stadium, probably cheering so hard that his own sparkles were in danger of going supernova.
So here’s to hoping that Mr. Pattinson enjoyed the concert and didn’t get too distracted by the moonlight!
