Taylor Swift got a surprise that made her hit all the high notes when her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, crashed her latest Eras Tour show in Dublin!
The 34-year-old football star took a time-out from tackling on the field to tackle Taylor’s heart by showing up at her third Dublin show. He just waltzed in like it was no big deal—right in the middle of her concert on Sunday night (June 30) in Ireland. Meanwhile, the day before, Travis was in sunny California, doing the chicken dance at his Kansas City Chiefs teammate Clyde Edwards-Helaire’s wedding to JoJo O’Conner. Talk about a weekend marathon!
As Taylor was belting out “August” with the passion of a thousand breakups, she caught sight of Travis in the VIP tent. Her face lit up like a Christmas tree on caffeine. Fans are already making memes out of her mid-show surprise reaction, and videos are going viral faster than you can say, “Shake it off!”
But Travis wasn’t the only big name enjoying the show. Oscar-winner Julia Roberts and rock goddess Stevie Nicks were also there, probably debating whether to start a Taylor Swift fan club.
Taylor, ever the queen of tributes, serenaded the crowd with her song “Clara Bow,” which name-drops Stevie, as the first surprise song of the night. Her second surprise song? “You’re On Your Own Kid,” one of Stevie’s all-time favorites. Taylor got all sentimental, saying, “The reason I want to play this tonight is because a friend of mine is here who’s watching the show and who has been one of the reasons why I, or any female artist, get to do what we get to do. She’s become friends with so many female artists just to be a guiding hand. I can’t tell you how rare that is. She’s a hero of mine and also someone that I can tell any secret and she’d never tell anybody. She’s really helped me through so much over the years. I’m talking about Stevie Nicks!”
Taylor’s concert had it all: love surprises, legendary guests, and a whole lot of musical magic. Can we get an encore?
