NLE Choppa Makes Appearance At Atlanta Black Pride, Expresses Love For The LGBT Community

Buy Me A Coffee

Ladies, gentlemen, and everyone fabulous in between—NLE Choppa strutted into Atlanta Black Pride 2024 like a rainbow-clad superhero, cape flapping in the wind. Promises? Oh, he doesn’t just make them. He delivers them like Amazon Prime, and this time, it was all about celebrating the LGBTQ community.

This isn’t the first time NLE Choppa has shown love for the community—he’s been out here giving shoutouts to his LGBTQ+ fam like he’s running for “Ally of the Year.” And let’s not forget the viral sensation that is “Slut Me Out 2.” Yes, you heard right. The anthem that had people twerking in grocery store aisles and probably their grandma’s living room has its roots in the love and support from the LGBTQ+ community. And you know what? He’s grateful. Like, send-a-heartfelt-thank-you-note grateful.

And what does a superstar do when their fans support them like this? Show up, of course. So, Choppa did just that—dropped in on ATL Black Pride like it was a family reunion, only with more glitter and less potato salad.

Cue the confetti cannons because the crowd was living for him. The cheers were probably loud enough to register on the Richter scale. The 21-year-old took the stage, looked out at the sea of fabulousness, and hit them with some real talk:

“I’m not here for no gimmick, no extra commas, no extra views,” he said, like a man who just turned down a Kardashian-level sponsorship deal. “I believe that everybody is equal.”

And because he wasn’t finished spreading the love like he was Oprah giving out cars, he added, “I want to let y’all know that the way y’all love and appreciate me, I love and appreciate you.” Heartfelt, right? Somebody hand this man a sash and crown already!

If you missed this glorious moment, don’t worry—you can catch the whole speech online. Just make sure you’re sitting down because the level of wholesomeness might knock you off your feet.

NLE Choppa, everyone. A man of his word, a champion of equality, and apparently, the owner of an endless supply of good vibes. Now, excuse us while we go stream “Slut Me Out 2” on repeat.
