Hold onto your jam jars! It looks like Meghan Markle’s next big product from her American Riviera Orchard brand has been sneakily revealed, and it’s sweeter than a royal scandal.
On June 14, Nacho Figueras—yes, the polo-playing heartthrob and Meghan’s buddy—took to Instagram Stories to share a tantalizing glimpse of a jar of raspberry jam, complete with the Duchess of Sussex’s new brand logo. It seems Nacho and his wife, Delfina Balquier, were among the lucky few to get a taste of Meghan’s debut strawberry jam, alongside the glitterati like Mindy Kaling, Chrissy Teigen, and Kris Jenner. This raspberry jam, however, is taking exclusivity to a whole new level with its “2 out of 2” label and flavor handwritten like a secret recipe from the royal kitchen.
But wait, there’s more! Nacho didn’t just stop at jam. He also posted a pic of his pooch striking a pose next to a container of dog treats. While the jar was missing the American Riviera Orchard logo, the words “Dog Biscuits” appeared to be scrawled in Meghan’s unmistakable calligraphy. Apparently, Meghan’s trademarks include pet goodies, and we can only imagine her dogs—Guy, Pula, and Mia—giving their paw of approval.
Recently, Meghan and Harry were spotted hanging out with Nacho and Delfina in Florida at the Royal Salute Polo Challenge at the Grand Champions Polo Club. This event wasn’t just about fancy hats and horseplay; it supported Sentebale, an organization Harry co-founded to aid children in Africa dealing with poverty, inequality, and HIV/AIDS.
An inside source spilled to PEOPLE that Meghan’s new venture is a love letter to everything she adores: family, cooking, entertaining, and home décor. “Meghan finds the name American Riviera Orchard perfect. It feels authentic to her. She can’t wait for the website to launch,” the insider gushed. “She is excited about her latest, personal venture. This is something she’s been wanting to do for a while. She is excited to share her style and things that she loves.”
The trademark applications read like a royal shopping spree, listing potential products such as cosmetics, home décor, stationery, linens, small kitchen appliances, condiments, yoga equipment, gardening gear, pet accessories, tableware, and, of course, jarred food.
Meghan officially kicked off the American Riviera Orchard lifestyle brand with a landing page and Instagram account on March 14. The name is a nod to Santa Barbara, where she and Harry reside with their little royals, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. The California coastline, nicknamed the “American Riviera,” has been basking in its glamorous nickname for over a century.
The hint about Meghan’s newest jam came just hours before the royal family was out and about in London for Trooping the Colour on June 15, celebrating King Charles’ birthday. It’s worth noting that Meghan and Harry weren’t invited to this parade for the second year in a row, having stepped back as senior royals in 2020.
Meanwhile, this year’s Trooping the Colour featured Kate Middleton making a grand return to royal duties since her cancer diagnosis. She rode in a horse-drawn carriage and graced the Buckingham Palace balcony, reminding us all that the royal show must go on—jam or no jam.
