Millie Bobby Brown is basically manifesting a future where she’s rocking bedazzled crop tops and saying, “It’s Britney, b***h.”
The 21-year-old actress is fully on board with the idea of playing the legendary 43-year-old pop icon, Britney Spears, in a biopic. And honestly, someone get this girl a snake and a headset mic, because she sounds ready.
“I mean, she’s a total icon. I would love nothing more than to be a part of her story,” Millie gushed to Access Hollywood at the premiere of her new movie, The Electric State. “But, you know, that’s her story to tell, and I fully support her bringing it to life however she wants.”
Translation: I will do it in a heartbeat, but also, I don’t want Britney side-eyeing me from across the internet.
Millie first revealed her spiritual connection to Britney’s life back in 2022 on The Drew Barrymore Show. She explained how growing up in the spotlight gave her an understanding of the Oops!… I Did It Again singer’s journey.
“Just watching her videos, her interviews—especially when she was younger—it’s like, I get it,” Millie said at the time. “Like, same thing with you, Drew! The struggle to find words, the media frenzy… I don’t know Britney personally, but when I look at pictures of her, I feel like I could tell her story the right way.”
So, if a Britney biopic ever gets greenlit, someone better check on Millie. She’s probably already practicing hair flips, stocking up on sparkly bodysuits, and rehearsing Crossroads monologues in front of the mirror.
