Miley Cyrus Gives a Heartfelt, Hilarious Take on LA Fires After Losing Her Home in 2018

Buy Me A Coffee

Miley Cyrus is back at it again, this time addressing the fiery fiasco that’s currently turning Los Angeles into a scene straight out of a disaster movie. You know, the one where the hero manages to save the day but not without a little drama first!

So, it’s been about five years since Miley’s former digs went up in flames during the infamous 2018 Woolsey fires—talk about a wild party crash! On Saturday, our beloved pop star took to the ‘Gram to share some of the organizations she’s rallying behind in light of this fiery situation, urging her followers to dig deep into their pockets and spread the word. Because if there’s one thing Miley knows how to do, it’s rallying the troops!

In her Instagram story, she posted a nostalgic snapshot of her front porch, which, let’s just say, looks like it hosted a rather unfortunate BBQ. “This image hits me harder than a wrecking ball today!” she quipped. “Here’s a throwback to my front porch post-Woolsey—yep, that pile of ash used to be my cozy hangout spot!” Who knew a photo could be so heart-wrenching and comical at the same time?

Miley added, “You walk up to your front door, dreaming of those warm hugs and loving pets, and instead, you’re greeted by an industrial-sized scoop of despair.” Talk about a welcome home! She went on to share her sympathy for those currently facing the same fiery fate, proclaiming, “My soul is crying louder than my last album drop! LA is the land of dreams, but right now, it’s looking like the land of ‘what in the world happened here?’”

She finished with some wisdom that’s more inspiring than a full-circle plot twist in a rom-com: “It’ll take time, resources, and a whole lot of community love to bounce back from this. But for now, we’re all feeling the burn—literally and figuratively!”
