Miley Cyrus has once again been spotted emerging from a recording studio like a glittery musical bat outta hell — and yes, that means NEW MUSIC is on the way. Cue the emotional breakdowns and pre-saving rituals.
The 32-year-old chaos queen was seen flouncing out of NYC’s Electric Lady Studios on Monday night (April 21), dressed in an all-black ‘I’m-making-art-so-don’t-speak-to-me’ ensemble — complete with blue-tinted sunglasses that scream, “I’m famous and slightly over it.” Paparazzi were blinded not by her outfit, but by her unapologetic main character energy.
Smile? Check. Sunglasses at night? Double check. Probably thinking about a Grammy? Triple check.
ICYMI, Miley is gearing up to drop her ninth (yes, NINTH, like a musical Pokémon evolution) studio album titled Something Beautiful, landing in our needy ears on May 30. And just when you thought she was done, SURPRISE: she’s also serving up a musical film version of the album, premiering at the Tribeca Film Festival on June 6, because she doesn’t believe in chill.
The lead single, “End of the World,” is already out and already breaking hearts. Miley revealed she wrote the song for her mom, Tish Cyrus, so go ahead and cry now, we’ll wait. 🥲
No tracklist yet, but knowing Miley, it’s going to be part therapy session, part party, and part “OMG, did she just say that?” — and we are HERE FOR IT.
Miley is thriving, the music is coming, and we’re spiritually unprepared. 🔥🎤💅
Stay tuned, stay hydrated, and maybe buy some waterproof mascara.
