Enter Melanie Hamrick, 37, ex-ballerina and full-time Mick Jagger whisperer. The woman who’s been cha-cha-ing with the Rolling Stones frontman since 2014 and even gave birth to his eighth child, little Deveraux, a.k.a. Rock Spawn 8.0.
Now, just in case you’re doing the math at home, yes — Mick is 81 years old. And yes — that makes their age gap a cool 44 years. That’s the same number of minutes it takes Mick to do his full skincare routine before a concert. But does Melanie care? Not even slightly.
In a recent interview with IconicHipster.com, Melanie shut down the haters with the kind of energy only someone who does five pirouettes before breakfast can muster:
“He’s younger than me!” she declared with the confidence of a woman who’s seen Mick Jagger do the splits and live to tell the tale.
And honestly? She might be right. Mick Jagger, despite being born during the Bronze Age (probably), somehow has the energy of a TikTok star hopped up on Red Bull and unresolved childhood trauma.
Melanie couldn’t stop gushing about Mick’s dad skills either:
“It’s amazing. It’s natural, it’s in his genes,” she said.
To be fair, Mick is basically Father Time at this point, so yeah, dad stuff is probably second nature. She added:
“No one taught him, no one influenced him. He moved like that before he saw any of his dad’s concerts.”
Translation: Deveraux is already moonwalking in diapers and doing the rooster strut during nap time. The Jagger genes are strong, y’all.
So if you’re side-eyeing their relationship because of the age gap, Melanie’s message is clear: Keep your opinions to yourself unless you can dance like your hip joints have been cryogenically preserved since 1962.
