Meghan McCain is once again in the spotlight, firing shots at her ex-buddies from The View like a comedic sniper.
The 39-year-old TV dynamo, who graced The View’s stage from 2017 to 2021, found herself on the receiving end of Ana Navarro’s commentary on Hunter Biden’s legal rollercoaster. Ana, in her wisdom, quipped, “Joe Biden’s crime is being Hunter Biden’s father,” adding that Hunter played the influence game with his last name, a pastime that, according to Ana, rivals bingo in D.C.
Without calling Meghan out by name, Ana threw the shade, and Meghan, like a superhero with a sarcastic cape, swooped in on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, to deliver her response.
“I don’t get why my ex-pals @TheView @ABC keep dragging my name through the comedic mud. It’s been eons – move on, I have,” she declared, probably accompanied by an eye-roll emoji.
“Crime? Me? Never! I’m the epitome of patriotic Americana. I’ve never ‘influence peddled’ in my life, not even in a parallel universe where pigs fly and politicians tell the truth. I’m no Hunter Biden, and that’s saying a lot.”
Meghan, in true mic-drop fashion, wrapped up with, “These allegations are as absurd as a cat fashion show, defamatory as a stand-up routine gone wrong, and slanderous as a tabloid’s attempt at rhyming poetry. Lawyers, assemble – I’ve got View-related libel to conquer!” Cue the superhero theme music.
I don’t understand why my former colleagues @TheView @ABC bring me up and slander me on an almost weekly basis. It has been years – move on, I have.
I have never been accused of a crime in my life and am a patriotic American – I would never and have never “influenced peddled”…
