Paris? She’s in Pampers now. That’s right, Lily Collins, our beloved Emily in Paris star, has just leveled up to Mom Mode! The 35-year-old actress and her husband, director Charlie McDowell, have officially welcomed their first child—a baby girl—via surrogate. And yes, she already has a name that sounds straight out of a whimsical fairytale: Tove Jane McDowell.
The proud parents announced the news with an Instagram post featuring the first-ever glimpse of their newborn (or at least, part of her—because celebs love a good mysterious baby reveal). In true heartfelt fashion, Lily wrote:
“Welcome to the center of our world, Tove Jane McDowell. Words will never express our endless gratitude for our incredible surrogate and everyone who helped us along the way. We love you to the moon and back again…”
Translation: We are obsessed with this tiny human, and also, sleep? Never heard of her.
This joyous announcement comes just days after Lily wrapped up her West End play Barcelona. Yes, she finished an intense run on stage and then immediately transitioned into diaper duty—talk about range!
Naturally, Hollywood rushed to flood the comments with love. Within 10 minutes (seriously, were they all just refreshing her page?), A-listers like Amanda Seyfried, Billie Lourd, Sarah Hyland, Jordana Brewster, and Riley Keough all chimed in with their congratulations.
