Hold onto your wigs, because the drama is hitting harder than a Housewives reunion special! Kenya Moore, the reigning queen of shade on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, has found herself in hot water. Or should we say, hot tea?
Picture this: Season 16 is rolling, the cameras are zooming in on every side-eye and shady comment, and Kenya’s hair salon is having its grand opening. Everything was set to be fabulous until—BAM!—an alleged incident shook things up like a table flip at a New Jersey dinner party.
Here’s the scoop: During the opening of Kenya Moore Hair Spa, newbie cast member Brittany Eady somehow got involved in a situation that’s juicier than a Georgia peach. Rumor has it Kenya displayed some, ahem, questionable images of Brittany that she allegedly found online. These images supposedly depicted Brittany in a compromising position. Cue the gasps and pearl-clutching!
Our friends over at ET and THR both confirmed that Kenya’s been benched indefinitely while Bravo reviews the footage. Apparently, Bravo is playing detective to figure out if Kenya crossed the line from drama to, well, drama with a capital D.
Kenya, never one to stay silent, took to Twitter faster than you can say “Gone with the Wind fabulous” to defend herself. “I would never engage in revenge porn,” she declared, adding a fire emoji for good measure. She insists she’s innocent, never distributed any private images, and is the target of fake news. #Sweet16, indeed!
Meanwhile, over on Instagram Live, Porsha Williams popped in to sprinkle some love and emojis, telling Kenya, “We love you!!” and throwing in some hearts and flames. Sisterhood of the traveling drama, am I right?
Now, swirling through the rumor mill were whispers that Brittany threatened Kenya and even dropped the G-word—gun. But sources shut that down quicker than a bad weave job, insisting no weapons were involved. No Housewives version of the Wild West here.
Brittany, on her part, is feeling the burn of being the new girl in the lion’s den. She posted on her Instagram story about feeling targeted and hazed, and clarified that she’s never so much as gotten a speeding ticket, let alone threatened anyone. Wrong is wrong, she says, and she’s hurt by how things are shaking out.
So what’s next? Will Kenya make a triumphant return, or will this saga end with her hanging up her peach? Bravo’s keeping mum for now, leaving us all in suspense. Stay tuned, because in the world of Housewives, the drama is never, ever done!
I would never engage in revenge porn, I have never distributed private images or footage of anyone, nor solicited images owned by others to use to threaten or blackmail.
I have always been vindicated. I can’t talk about STORY even with people planting fake news #sweet16🔥
