If you’re a Gilmore Girls fan, you’ll know that Keiko Agena rocked our world as the unforgettable Lane Kim in every season of the show. Yep, she was Rory Gilmore’s bestie and the punk rock drummer who made us all want to join a local band and dye our hair funky colors.
So, here’s the scoop: in a fresh-off-the-presses interview, Keiko dished on which two co-stars she still chats with. Drumroll, please…
Turns out, Keiko still keeps in touch with John Cabrera, the dude who played Brian, her fellow bandmate, and Sean Gunn, the zany Kirk of Stars Hollow fame. Who knew?
Keiko spilled the beans to People, saying, “There’s this warm, fuzzy nostalgia for that era, but also, we’ve got years and years of life since then. I even hit up both their weddings! Our friendship is like a Gilmore Girls mashup with a sprinkle of ‘Hey, we’re just regular friends now’.”
