Welp, Kanye West is at it again—dropping truth bombs (or maybe just bombshells) about his past life with Kim Kardashian. And this time? He’s saying he didn’t even want to have kids with her. Yikes.
In a new interview, the 47-year-old rapper, fashion mogul, and part-time chaos enthusiast spilled the tea on his early days with Kim. And by tea, we mean a piping hot mess.
Podcast host DJ Akademiks, probably bracing himself for impact, said, “People might be like, ‘Well, you picked her. You put yourself in that.’” To which Kanye, who was somehow wearing an outfit straight out of a dystopian villain’s wardrobe, responded, “Absolutely, I did. That was my fault. No, that was my fault.”
But then he dropped the real shocker: “I didn’t want to have children with this person after the first two months of being with them,” Kanye admitted. “But that wasn’t God’s plan.”
Sir… what? Not even three months in, and you were already regretting it? At this point, even Netflix shows get renewed for a second season before regrets kick in.

For those keeping score, Kanye and Kim were married from 2014 to 2022 and share four kids: North (11), Saint (9), Chicago (7), and Psalm (5). But apparently, co-parenting with the Kardashians is as easy as solving a Rubik’s Cube blindfolded.
Kanye also took this opportunity to complain about Kim trademarking their kids’ names (because, obviously, nothing screams “family bonding” like intellectual property disputes). According to Ye, the drama hit DEFCON 1 when Kim stopped him from releasing a song called Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine, featuring both North and—wait for it—Sean “Diddy” Combs.
“When my daughter was put on the song, that’s when I realized that I didn’t own their name and likeness,” Kanye revealed. “I don’t have at least 50-50 with my kids, so how is it joint custody? My kids are celebrities, and I don’t have a say.”
Ah, yes. A tale as old as time—dad just wants to drop a track with Diddy and his 11-year-old daughter, but mom says no. Classic.

And if you thought Kanye was done? Nope. He went full battle mode, claiming that the Kardashian-Jenners are playing a very public game of Let’s See How Much Control We Have Over Ye’s Kids.
“This white woman and this white family have control of these highly influential Black kids that are half the kids of Ye, and that’s just in everybody’s face. They play in my face like that,” he said.
Then came the official declaration of war: “It’s war! They think they’re too powerful.”
Now, if we had a dollar for every time Kanye declared war on the Kardashians, we’d probably have enough to buy a Birkin bag off Kris Jenner’s emergency drama fund.

But wait, there’s more! Kanye ended his rant by questioning Kim’s parenting priorities.
“When you’re a celebrity, it starts to be about what fame it’s going to get you, what clout it’s going to get you, what money it’s going to get you over, ‘Is this the right thing for your children?’” he pondered.
And then, in peak Main Character Energy, he added: “I’m willing to die for my children than to allow them to be in this environment that I know they’re in.”
Kanye, buddy… we just wanted an album. Maybe some Yeezys. Instead, we got another chapter in the never-ending Kardashian-West saga.
