Julianne Hough, the reigning queen of all things “Dancing with the Stars,” was recently grilled on which past winner might not have been the best dancer ever. For those living under a rock, Julianne is like the Swiss Army knife of the show—she’s danced, judged, and now co-hosts. She’s basically the Beyoncé of ballroom.
On a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live!, Julianne was asked if she had any major bone to pick with a past winner. Mickey Guyton, the fabulous guest on the show, threw down the gauntlet with a cheeky “Bobby Bones.”
Julianne was like, “Oh, you took the words right out of my mouth!” Apparently, Bobby Bones, who’s known for spinning tunes on the radio rather than spinning on the dance floor, won Season 27 back in 2018. Why? Because he’s got fans like ants at a picnic.
Julianne went on to say, “I’m with you on this one. It’s all about the fan base. Bobby Bones was a decent dancer but had the following of a rock star. He was more like ‘Dancing with the Stars of the Radio,’ if you ask me.”
Bobby Bones might have won the trophy, but it sounds like Julianne’s saying his moves weren’t exactly putting the “dance” in “dance-off.”
