It’s official: Pacey from Dawson’s Creek and Queen from Queen & Slim have divorced. RIP to another hot couple we barely got to root for. But before you break out the tissues or the popcorn, buckle up—because this custody clash is giving us full-blown co-parenting chaos with a side of PTA shade.
So, the tea is this: Joshua Jackson (46, still hot, still confused about life without a creek) and Jodie Turner-Smith (38, glamazon queen with cheekbones that could cut glass) have mostly settled their divorce. Paperwork? Signed. Child support? $2,787 a month—thanks for playing, Josh. Spousal support? Nada. Just one chunky check up front. Probably signed it with a flourish and a sigh.
But there’s one major thing they cannot agree on—and it’s not who gets to keep the Vitamix. Nope, it’s where their adorable 4-year-old daughter Juno is going to school. Yes. School. Because even celebrity toddlers have drama now.

They hashed out most of the co-parenting stuff and Jodie left with what she thought was full authority to pick Juno’s school. The agreement literally said: “Jodie decides.” Period. End of sentence. So Jodie did what any sensible mom would do—she picked a school that’s diverse, stable, and probably serves gluten-free dinosaur nuggets at lunch. She even gave Josh a heads-up in April, like, “Hey, just FYI, our child is going to this lovely place where she’ll learn ABCs and emotional intelligence.”
And what did Joshua do? According to Jodie, he basically said, “Hard pass.” His legal squad popped in like, “We object!” citing drive time as a concern. Bro, it’s L.A.—everything takes 45 minutes and a soul sacrifice to get to.
Jodie, understandably fed up with this educational tug-of-war, is now asking for \$75,000 in legal fees. Probably to cover all the back-and-forth over whether their daughter should go to a school with yoga breaks or forest therapy.
For context, these two got hitched in 2019 (quietly, chicly), made a gorgeous child in 2020, and then called it quits in October 2023. That’s four years of love, a pandemic, a toddler, and now… a legal feud over crayons and cafeteria lunches.
