He’s back! Former President Joe Biden, the man who’s held more titles than your grandma’s VHS collection, has officially signed with Creative Artists Agency (CAA) once again.
At a sprightly 82 years old, Biden is proving that retirement is for quitters. The former Commander-in-Chief, former Vice President, and current ice cream enthusiast was previously represented by CAA from 2017 to 2020. Back then, he was fresh off his eight-year stint as Barack Obama’s No. 2 (aka The World’s Most Powerful Best Friend).
During his last partnership with CAA, Biden did what every ex-President does—he wrote a bestselling memoir, Promise Me, Dad, and embarked on a 42-date American Promise tour, where he sold over 85,000 tickets nationwide. Not bad for a guy whose biggest daily challenge now is remembering where he left his sunglasses.
CAA co-chairman Richard Lovett practically burst into patriotic song when he announced Biden’s return, saying:
“President Biden is one of America’s most respected and influential voices in national and global affairs. His lifelong commitment to public service is one of unity, optimism, dignity, and possibility. We are profoundly honored to partner with him again.”
Translation: Biden still sells tickets, and we love that for us.
So what’s next for Joe? A Netflix special? A stadium tour? A rap album? The possibilities are endless, and honestly, we can’t wait to see what’s coming. Whatever it is, we just hope someone reminds him what he signed up for.
Stay tuned!
