Jennifer Garner is on an emotional rollercoaster as the school year winds down!
On Monday (May 20), the 52-year-old star of 13 Going on 30 took to Instagram to give us all the feels with a series of photos showing her in full-on cry mode as she gets ready for her 18-year-old daughter Violet’s high school graduation.
“Tell me you have a graduate without telling me you have a graduate. 🎓 (bless our hearts 🥺♥️🤣)” Jennifer captioned her post.
First up, we have Jennifer tearing up while giving a round of applause at a graduation event—classic mom move. Next, she’s caught crying outside the venue, possibly pondering how her little girl grew up so fast while also considering if she remembered to turn off the oven.
Then, Jennifer takes her tears to the skies with a photo of her sobbing on an airplane. Because why limit the drama to just one altitude? She also included a video of herself dabbing at her eyes with a tissue, lamenting, “How are we going to make it? What are we going to do?” Spoiler alert: Probably more crying.
To top it all off, Jennifer dons a pair of “2024” sunglasses while standing in a kitchen, because nothing says “I’m coping” like novelty eyewear and the place where snacks live.
Of course, her celeb pals were quick to jump in with support. Gwyneth Paltrow commented, “I’m sooooo with you ❤🩹,” while Reese Witherspoon chimed in with, “Oh honey … I know. 😢 ❤️ You have done a great job, mama! I will be here for support and lots of hugs.” Can we get an “Awww”?
Jennifer shares her three kids—Violet, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12—with her ex-husband Ben Affleck, proving once again that co-parenting can be both challenging and hilarious.
