Jason Momoa, the man who could make even a goldfish jealous of his luscious locks, took center stage at Saturday Night Live, and boy, did he bring the party with him!
The 44-year-old Aquaman sensation traded his trident for a mic and dove headfirst into the hilarious deep end during his November 18 hosting gig. Forget the glitz and glamour of Hollywood; Momoa’s journey to stardom was more unexpected than finding a pineapple at the North Pole.
As he stood there, hair flowing like a shampoo commercial on steroids, Momoa spilled the aquatic beans on his childhood dreams back in Iowa. Brace yourselves: he didn’t dream of red carpets and movie premieres.
“I was dead set on being a marine biologist. Because clearly, I look like the poster child for science,” Jason quipped. But fate had other plans. After a detour back to the waves in Hawaii, Momoa was discovered while riding the surf and ended up on Baywatch. Move over, Jacques Cousteau; there’s a new marine expert in town!
In the midst of joking about his superhero hair and being the fish whisperer, Jason couldn’t resist poking fun at his own physique. Gesturing towards his mom in the audience, he warned, “If you spot her, approach with caution. She’s still in recovery from the seismic event that was giving birth to yours truly.”
And just like that, Momoa turned the SNL stage into a laugh-out-loud ocean of comedy. From marine biologist dreams to birthing jokes, who knew Aquaman had a sea of humor hidden beneath those sea-green eyes?
