Jamie Lee Curtis is dishing out the latest on the much-anticipated sequel Freakier Friday, and things are getting freaky indeed!
At the ripe young age of 65, and now with an Oscar under her belt, Jamie Lee Curtis has revealed that she’s only got a few days left of making movie magic with her ultimate partner-in-crime, Lindsay Lohan. The dynamic duo is set to wrap up production on the Disney sequel that’s due to hit the big screens in 2025, and we’re already counting down the days.
“The last FRIDAY of this FREAKIEST FRIDAY—or shall I call it CRYDAY,” Jamie teased, undoubtedly causing fans to ugly cry into their breakfast cereals.
“We’ve got a couple of days left next week, but it’s all winding down. This morning, as I waltzed into work, I was hit with the overwhelming sight of hundreds—yes, hundreds—of people gathering together like a herd of dedicated movie-making sheep. All of them sweating under the California sun to bring you the wildest Friday yet!” she shared. “And let me tell you, I’m feeling especially grateful for my ULTIMATE movie daughter, @lindsaylohan. Without her, this movie would be as likely to happen as a snowstorm in July. Seriously. It just wouldn’t exist.”
In a heartwarming twist, Jamie revealed that Lindsay “gifted me a @suziekondi shirt after I drooled over hers.” Because what better way to say, “I appreciate you,” than with matching outfits? Jamie proudly wore the shirt, declaring it her uniform for the day. “Off to wig and work!” she exclaimed, because wigs are obviously the secret ingredient to movie success. (Just don’t tell the Oscars.)
She also took a moment to shout out all the Disney superfans, saying, “Thanks for all the @disneyd23 LOVE! It was LEGENDARY!”—which, of course, had fans buzzing like caffeinated bees.
But the love didn’t stop there. Lindsay chimed in the comments with a mushy reply: “So much ❤️ and gratitude for YOU and this WONDERFUL experience! Can’t wait for many more fun times ahead!! ❤️🙌🫶”
