Vanderpump fans—James Kennedy is serving up more drama than a Jax Taylor apology tour. The former Vanderpump Rules star, 32, found himself in hot water this week, and we’re not talking about his DJ equipment overheating. Nope, James was arrested for misdemeanor domestic violence after a witness claimed he got physical with an unidentified woman at his Burbank love shack. And before you ask, no injuries were reported. Apparently, James might’ve been aiming for a “ghost hug,” because the woman in question walked away unscathed.
Now, enter Ally Lewber, James’ 28-year-old girlfriend, who decided to break her silence on the matter. Spoiler: She’s not spilling tea; she’s sipping chamomile and asking everyone to chill.
Hopping onto her Instagram Story—because where else would one address such matters?—Ally kept it short, sweet, and drama-lite (boring, we know).
“Thank you to everyone who has reached out with love and support and for checking in on me,” she wrote, making it clear that she appreciates people sliding into her DMs for once without asking about James’ DJ schedule.
“I’m okay and taking the time I need right now,” Ally continued, likely from a cozy blanket fort filled with self-care essentials and zero Sandoval energy. She wrapped it up with, “I deeply appreciate all the kindness and respect for my privacy during this time,” which is the polite way of saying, “Please stop tagging me in TMZ screenshots.”
James Kennedy is once again proving that his life off-stage is just as chaotic as one of his DJ sets, and Ally is over here trying to keep it classy amidst the drama. Tune in next week to see if James can stay out of trouble or if we’re about to witness a Bravo spinoff called Law & Order: Vanderpump Division.
