Jacob Elordi and Olivia Jade are officially waving “ciao” to Venice in the most undercover way possible – as undercover as two super-hot, super-famous people can get, anyway.
The couple, clearly operating at peak stealth mode, were spotted trying to pull a “ninja exit” at the Marco Polo Airport on Thursday (Oct. 3). They were probably hoping everyone was too busy eating gelato to notice. But nope, the cameras caught them leaving Italy like, “Yup, we’ve done enough pizza and pasta for a lifetime.”
Jacob, the 27-year-old Euphoria heartthrob, was rocking a look that said, “I’m a celebrity, but I’m also just a dude who forgot to pack until the last minute.” He threw on a black jacket over a white tank that screamed “I’m effortlessly stylish,” along with some gray jeans and a camouflage-print hat. Why camo? Because if he can’t see you, you can’t see him – classic move. He topped it all off with sunglasses and a black face mask, probably thinking it was his secret weapon in hiding from the paparazzi. Spoiler alert: It wasn’t.
Meanwhile, Olivia Jade, influencer extraordinaire and fashion goddess, was serving cozy realness. She donned a gray sweatshirt and matching long gray skirt, accessorized with a green baseball hat, and because she’s nothing if not extra, she also wrapped a scarf around her head. Maybe she was channeling her inner Venice gondolier, or maybe it was just a windy day. Either way, she looked comfy and fabulous.
Both Jacob and Olivia were also carrying matching leather woven bags by Bottega Veneta, because when you’re a couple, matching bags are a must. Also, in case you didn’t know, Jacob’s not just carrying around any old bag – he’s a Bottega Veneta brand ambassador. Yes, he’s basically a walking, talking billboard for luxury handbags. He even hit up the Bottega Veneta Fashion Show in Milan recently, strutting around like the stylish king he is.
Before their airport escape, the duo had been living their best lives, yacht-hopping around Italy with Olivia’s fam. Because nothing says “we’re really blending in with the locals” like cruising around on a luxury yacht.
As if Jacob wasn’t busy enough being fabulous and brand ambassador-y, it was recently announced that he’ll be reuniting with Saltburn director Emerald Fennell for a new adaptation of Wuthering Heights. Yes, Wuthering Heights, the book you pretended to read in high school but just skimmed for the essay. Expect brooding, expect drama, and expect Jacob to somehow make tragic moors look fashionable.
So, goodbye Venice, hello Hollywood, and stay tuned for more glam and secret exits from the world’s most stealthy celebrity couple!
