Gypsy Rose Blanchard, fresh out of the clink and feeling chatty, has some unsolicited advice for Erik and Lyle Menendez. The 33-year-old recently freed herself from the Missouri hospitality suite known as the Chillicothe Correctional Centre after serving seven years for, you know, accidentally arranging her mom’s permanent bedtime. Now she’s ready to drop wisdom bombs on two guys who, back in 1989, decided their parents were just… too Beverly Hills to live.
In an interview with TMZ (because of course TMZ), Gypsy got real about the brothers’ potential re-entry into the wild, chaotic zoo we call modern society.
“Take It Easy, Boys”
“If they do get a retrial or resentencing or whatever fancy lawyer stuff, my advice is: Chillax,” Gypsy said, clearly channeling her inner life coach. “Don’t rush out the prison gates like it’s Black Friday at Target. The world’s, like, completely different now. Trust me—when I went in, TikTok didn’t even exist, and now everyone’s doing weird dances for reasons nobody understands.”
For the uninitiated, the Menendez brothers are currently petitioning for a new hearing, fueled by newly submitted evidence and Netflix stirring the pot with Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story. (Netflix knows exactly how to make murder fashionable, don’t they?)
“Therapy, Therapy, Therapy”
Gypsy didn’t mince words about post-prison life: “You gotta ease into it, like when you dip your toes in a freezing pool. Also, therapy. Lots and lots of therapy. Because this world? Yikes. It’s a different kind of crazy out here.”
And hey, while Gypsy admits she’s not exactly a walking Wikipedia on the Menendez case, she made it clear she’s Team Victims. “I’m all about advocating for abuse victims and prison reform,” she said. “If these guys were victims too, well… let’s just say, everybody deserves a little justice, even if they made a big ol’ mess first.”
The Kim Kardashian Seal of Approval
When TMZ informed Gypsy that Kim Kardashian—yes, that Kim—is supporting the Menendez brothers, she didn’t bat an eyelash. “Well, duh,” she said, with a knowing smirk. “Kim’s been killing it in her Prison Reform Era. Honestly, if Kim says they deserve another shot, who am I to argue? The woman made bike shorts and a law degree happen at the same time.”
And with that, Gypsy Rose Blanchard exited the interview like a pro—armed with the wisdom of experience, a passion for reform, and a healthy respect for Kim K’s life choices.
