Flavor Flav is stepping up to ensure Jordan Chiles can keep rocking some bronze bling around her neck, even though the Olympics snatched her bronze medal away!
So here’s the scoop: Jordan nailed a bronze in the women’s floor final at the 2024 Paris Olympics, but the International Gymnastics Federation decided Romania’s Ana Barbosu should be bumped up from fourth to third after the Court of Arbitration for Sport threw a rulebook wrench into things. Now, the bronze medal is being handed over to Ana, and the Olympic Committee is in the process of getting it back from Team USA. USA Gymnastics is firing up its appeal engines, too.
Enter Flavor Flav, the king of “don’t worry, I got this!” He hit up Jordan on social media with a plan that’s pure Flav magic:
“Ayyy YOOOO @ChilesJordan,” he tweeted. “Imma hook you up with a BRONZE CLOCK NECKLACE,,, and that’s something NO ONE else got!!! Hit me up, my girl,,, I gotchu,!!!”
Just hours later, Flav’s team whipped up a custom clock necklace that would make even Big Ben jealous. He proudly flaunted the final product with a tweet:
“USA gonna Fight the Powers that be,,, in the meantime between time,,, Imma always a man of my word @ChilesJordan,” he wrote.
Looks like Flavor Flav’s got the time—and the bling—to make sure Jordan’s bronze dreams stay golden!
