DJ Diplo, aka Thomas Wesley Pentz, has taken center stage in a drama spicier than your aunt’s secret chili recipe. On the fine day of Friday, June 28, our beloved 45-year-old DJ was hit with a lawsuit by an unnamed former partner who claimed Diplo shared their private, shall we say, “adult content” on social media without her thumbs-up.
This mystery woman, who dated Diplo from 2016 to 2023, said their rendezvous were all consensual. But, plot twist! She claims Diplo was the unofficial director of their very private indie films, and then went all paparazzi on Snapchat.
When the story hit the headlines, Diplo hopped on Instagram faster than a kid on a trampoline, ready to clear the airwaves. With a combo of vacation selfies and concert snapshots, he began his digital defense.
“Don’t believe what you read in the news,” Diplo declared, adding a sprinkle of wanderlust. Picture him sunbathing, cocktail in hand, with a giant inflatable flamingo in the background.
