Demi Moore just added another trophy to her collection—and probably had to clear some space on her already overcrowded awards shelf!
The 62-year-old Hollywood legend strutted onto the stage at the 2025 Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday night (February 23) at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles to claim her victory as Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role for The Substance.
And boy, did she have substance in her speech!
While clutching her well-earned SAG statuette (which, let’s be real, is probably heavier than it looks), Demi got a little teary-eyed as she took a nostalgic trip down memory lane, back to 1978 when she first got her SAG card as a bright-eyed teenager.
“You have all been my greatest teachers,” she told the crowd of fellow actors, as Hollywood’s biggest names nodded in deep, serious agreement—while simultaneously planning their afterparty outfits. “I am so, so grateful that I have continued over these so many years to be able to try—and sometimes succeed and sometimes fail—but to be able to keep going.”
Basically, her message was: Stick around long enough, and eventually, you too can be a Hollywood icon!
Then, like a wise acting guru, Demi turned her attention to the fresh-faced newbies still trying to find their way in the industry.
“As these actors who are having to do it all, I just encourage you, don’t lose sight of the human connection,” she advised, in what we can only assume was her best Yoda-like wisdom voice. “That’s the work that we do. It’s to be connected to one another.”
Translation: Don’t just chase awards, people—chase meaningful roles, real emotions, and maybe a really good skincare routine (because, seriously, how does she look that good at 62?!).
And with that, Demi Moore took her well-deserved victory lap, reminding everyone that she’s still got it—and Hollywood better take notes.
