In what can only be described as an absolute bombshell of a reveal (pun fully intended), 28-year-old actor Cooper Koch spilled the ahem “tea” about his steamy shower scene in Netflix’s Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story. Up until now, fans were stuck in a “was-it-real-or-was-it-silicone” debate. Well, wonder no more. Cooper has officially put the rumors to rest—and boy, did he do it with style.
The truth came out during his guest appearance on Watch What Happens Live with the one and only Andy Cohen, the unofficial king of awkward-yet-amazing late-night conversations. The episode aired on Monday, October 14, and—spoiler alert—it’s about to get real.
When asked about whether he used any Hollywood magic below the belt, Cooper didn’t flinch. “Just to say, mine is not a prosthetic,” he confidently declared.
Andy, never one to shy away from a sizeable compliment, shot back, “Congratulations, Cooper! You are very blessed.” Cooper, clearly vibing with the whole situation, replied with a grin: “Well… hung.”
If that doesn’t deserve a standing ovation, what does? 👏
But wait—there’s more! As if the conversation wasn’t already steamy enough, Cooper opened up about what it was like to film that now-iconic shower scene. Turns out, showing it all isn’t as easy as you’d think. “It’s not scary,” he explained, probably crushing the dreams of every actor out there hoping to use that as an excuse. “It’s just uncomfortable at first. It’s cold, especially in the shower.”
(And let’s be real—everyone’s biggest fear in that situation is definitely shrinkage. Because gravity’s one thing, but cold water? That’s a straight-up enemy.)
Cooper did mention the water was “warm in the beginning,” but judging by his expression, it sounds like things got chilly real fast. Imagine going from a hot tub to a polar plunge—except, you know, on national television.
The verdict is in: It’s all Koch. No props. Just pure… dedication to the craft. Bravo, Cooper. Bravo.
