Britney Spears is ALL about the girl crushes, and we’re here for it!
On Tuesday night (October 15), the 42-year-old “Gimme More” icon popped onto her Instagram Story with a heartfelt, unfiltered rant—and by “rant,” we mean the most Britney-esque stream-of-consciousness masterpiece ever. She dropped shout-outs to six women she’s completely obsessed with, including the Kendall Jenner, Drew Barrymore, and Selena Gomez. Spoiler alert: Britney’s girl crush game is STRONG.
“Women I genuinely admire and have crazy girl crushes on!!!” Britney began, likely with an exclamation point budget to burn. She dove right into some deep reflections: “Let’s talk about how your other half growing up is usually your best friend!!!” You know the vibe—those friends who finish your sentences, steal your fries, and somehow morph into your emotional twin, even if you don’t look alike. “The way you speak, walk, and act? It’s almost like y’all became the same f—ing person!!!”
But life had other plans. “Years go by, you get married, and boom, you’re living in separate zip codes. That’s life!!!” Britney sighed. Same, girl. Same. She kept it real about adult friendships: “I have girlfriends I hang with every now and then, but it’s not the same!!!
