The dynamic father-son duo, Eugene Levy and his charmingly quirky offspring, Dan Levy, are about to take over the 2024 Emmy Awards like a pair of tuxedo-clad tornadoes!
Yep, you read that right. The Emmy-winning pair from Schitt’s Creek have been tapped to host this year’s big event. That’s right, they’ll be gracing the stage at the Peacock Theater in L.A. Live on Sunday, September 15, and trust us, it’s going to be a hoot.
Picture this: Eugene, who’s 77 and has more grey matter than a chess grandmaster, and Dan, who’s 41 and probably has more Twitter followers than a Kardashian, will be making history as the first father-son team ever to host the Emmys. Talk about a family business!
In their delightfully Canadian way, Eugene and Dan said, “After winning our Emmys while literally camping out in a quarantine tent, the chance to host this year’s show in an actual theater feels like winning the lottery. We’re so excited to toast this amazing season of television and party with all of you!”
And speaking of exciting, the nominations for the 2024 Emmys are already out and, spoiler alert, Shōgun and The Bear are fighting it out like gladiators in a TV arena, each racking up a staggering 25 and 23 nominations, respectively. Buckle up, it’s going to be a night of epic proportions!
