Jisoo is about to make all of our K-drama dreams come true—again! The 30-year-old BLACKPINK superstar is swapping her mic for a script as she steps into the lead role of Netflix’s newest romantic drama, Boyfriend on Demand.

Yes, you read that right. Boyfriends. On. Demand. Where has this technology been all our lives?!

The Plot: Love, Stress, and… Subscription-Based Romance?
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jisoo will be playing Mi-rae, a webtoon producer who is so overworked that even her dating life has ghosted her. She wants love. She needs love. But between tight deadlines and probably living off instant ramen, romance is a luxury she simply can’t afford.

Then, in a plot twist straight out of a sci-fi rom-com fever dream, Mi-rae stumbles upon a “Monthly Boyfriend” device—a magical gadget that transports her into a virtual world filled with boyfriends who are, quite literally, too good to be true. Imagine dating app profiles that actually match their photos. Unrealistic, right?

Well, Mi-rae decides to give this high-tech Tinder 3000 a whirl, and boom—her heart (and maybe WiFi connection) is reactivated.
