Billie Eilish is showering her fans with affection, and it’s adorably hilarious!
Last Tuesday night (September 3), Billie “Birds of a Feather” Eilish graced the Jimmy Kimmel Live! stage, where she got all warm and fuzzy about her fans. She compared running into familiar faces at her concerts to stumbling upon old pals at a high school reunion.
“So here’s the scoop,” Billie began, “it’s like I’m hosting this giant, never-ending family reunion, except instead of awkward small talk with distant relatives, I’m hanging out with my fans. It’s like seeing your old buddies at every concert!”
She elaborated, “Back when I was just starting out, especially in L.A. because that’s where I’m from and I’m always lurking around, there were these kids who seemed to show up to everything I did. They were basically my concert BFFs. We’d all be at the same stuff, and it was like ‘Hey, look, it’s my concert crew!’”
The Grammy and Oscar-winning star continued, “I’d spot them at my shows, like, every other month, then they’d mysteriously disappear for a couple of years, and then—bam!—there they were again. It’s like catching up with my old buddies from a time when we all had questionable haircuts and even more questionable fashion choices. It’s heartwarming to see the same faces pop up over the years; it’s like my personal fan club of old friends!”
