Bart Johnson Defends Blake Lively in Lawsuit Drama: Calls Her His Hero, the Beyoncé of Girl Bosses

Bart Johnson, aka Coach Bolton from High School Musical, just turned his whistle on full blast to defend his sister-in-law, the ever-glamorous Blake Lively, amid her headline-grabbing lawsuit. Yes, this is not just basketball anymore—this is family court drama with a side of fiery Instagram comments.

In case you’ve been living under a rock without Wi-Fi, Bart—who’s been married to Blake’s older sister, Robyn Lively, since the late ‘90s—decided he was done sitting on the sidelines. Instead, he leaped into the comment section of The New York TimesInstagram post with the kind of gusto usually reserved for a motivational locker room speech.

Bart’s Instagram Mic Drop
First things first, Bart came in hot with some serious receipts:

“Her complaints were filed during the filming. On record. Long before the public conflict,” Bart wrote, basically serving up a piping-hot tea latte with extra foam. He went on to accuse co-star/director Justin Baldoni’s PR team of being, and I quote, “gross and disgusting but highly effective.” (Did someone order a burn with a side of scalding truth?)

And if you thought that was all, Bart hit us with a play-by-play of Blake’s life that would exhaust even the Energizer Bunny:

“IMAGINE being a stay-at-home mom raising 4 kids, married to the busiest man in Hollywood, while ALSO running multiple companies, working 16+ hour days, and launching two new businesses—all while dodging a PR smear campaign like Neo in The Matrix.”

Excuse me, but is Blake secretly a Marvel superhero? Or is this just what it takes to live in Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool-shadowed universe?

Girl Boss Energy on Full Blast
Not one to stop there, Bart doubled down on what makes a true “girl boss” in his eyes:

“To ME, a ‘girl boss’ means a woman that is kicking a$$ as an entrepreneur and/or business owner in what has been previously dominated by men,” Bart clarified, probably while metaphorically slamming down a dictionary and staring directly into the camera like a 2000s sitcom dad.

And just in case you weren’t paying attention, he made it clear that Blake—and every other woman fighting the good fight—are his personal heroes. “You’re free to define it as you wish, but that’s on you,” Bart quipped, serving up more sass than a Real Housewives reunion.

Fans React
Fans, of course, were quick to jump into the fray. Some applauded Bart for stepping up like the ultimate Instagram Dad of the Year. Others were too busy Googling, “Does Bart Johnson have his own podcast yet?”

One thing’s for sure—when it comes to family loyalty, Bart Johnson doesn’t just believe in his sister-in-law; he’s ready to rewrite the dictionary for her. Forget “High School Musical”—Bart’s next role should clearly be “High-Stakes Defender of Lively Legends.”

Coach Bolton, we salute you.
