Angelina Jolie has practically gotten on her knees and pleaded with Brad Pitt to “put a lid on the drama” and drop his lawsuit over their shared winery.
According to PEOPLE, Jolie’s rolling her eyes and formally requesting that Pitt spill the tea on all his chats with third parties during that infamous 2016 airplane ride that ended in their divorce. Yep, the one that turned their relationship from “Brangelina” to “Brange-ugh-lina.”
Her attorneys are over here waving their arms, telling the judge to swipe left on Pitt’s petition, calling it “nosy” and “like an episode of ‘Fishing for Sensationals’.”
Apparently, when Pitt tried to buy Jolie’s slice of the grape-stomping action, her lawyer, Paul Murphy (who must be tired of all this vineyard drama), dropped a statement to PEOPLE on July 17th. He said Pitt “tried to put Angelina in a straitjacket by demanding a souped-up NDA to cover his bad behavior and general shenanigans.” Sounds like a fun party trick, doesn’t it?
Murphy didn’t hold back, stating, “These antics are the star of this courtroom show.”
He continued, “Frankly, we’re not shocked Mr. Pitt is running scared from turning over the documents that would shine a light on these inconvenient truths.”
Murphy shared, “While Angelina’s out here with her megaphone asking Mr. Pitt to quit the bickering and finally get the family a GPS towards healing, if Mr. Pitt doesn’t back off with his lawsuit, Angelina’s got no choice but to gather the receipts to prove him wrong.”
