‘Full Speed’ is making a turbo-charged comeback on Netflix — and yes, it’s bringing the drama, the horsepower, and the kind of speed that’ll make your grandma clutch her pearls.
The docuseries that’s basically Fast & Furious but with way more real-life sweat and fewer Vin Diesels, is back for Season 2, and it’s pulling zero pit stops.
This adrenaline-fueled series dives deep into the 2024 NASCAR playoffs, following drivers who live life in the fast lane—literally. And guess what? Dale Earnhardt Jr., aka the Beyoncé of stock car racing, is back as the executive producer and wisdom-giver. He pops up to sprinkle in some racing insights and probably to remind us that driving in circles at 200 mph is actually really hard.
Season 2 is revved up with “tales of triumph and tenacity” — which is just a fancy way of saying you’ll see fast cars, big wins, emotional meltdowns, and probably a few dramatic helmet tosses.
This season’s dream team of drivers includes:
– Denny Hamlin (AKA Mr. I-Came-To-Win),
– Joey Logano (Who we’re convinced was born behind a steering wheel),
– Ryan Blaney (The one with great hair),
– Daniel Suarez (Smoother than a fresh oil change),
– Christopher Bell (Not a magician, but somehow always appears in the top 5),
– William Byron (Young, fast, and probably still pays for Spotify Premium),
– and Chase Briscoe (Name sounds made up, talent is very real).
You’ll get five glorious 45-minute episodes, which is enough high-speed action to make your heart race and your Netflix “continue watching” bar beg for mercy.
Mark your calendars and buckle up, ‘Full Speed’ Season 2 drops May 7th, exclusively on Netflix. That gives you just enough time to build a mini racetrack in your living room. (Highly encouraged, not legally advised.)
Trailer’s already out, so go peep it—then do a victory lap around your couch. 🏆
