Despite being the mastermind behind three strapping lads—Brooklyn, the trendsetter; Cruz, the charmer; and Romeo, the heartthrob—Victoria’s not yet ready to trade her designer stilettos for granny slippers.
In a recent chat with Vogue, when asked if she’s gearing up for the grandma life, Victoria’s reaction was pure gold. Picture this: a mix of shock, disbelief, and maybe just a hint of “are you serious?!” vibes. She quipped, “What?! Woo. Hang on. I don’t think it’s happening just yet, unless you guys know something that I don’t, it’s not happening just yet.”
And hey, who can blame her for being caught off guard? Her eldest, Brooklyn, already took the plunge and tied the knot with Nicola Peltz back in 2022. But hold your horses, because Victoria’s not exactly dusting off the rocking chair just yet.
In fact, she even shared a hilarious convo she had with the one and only Anna Wintour. You know, the Vogue bigwig? Yep, that Anna. Victoria, in her oh-so-posh accent, recalled, “The last time I was with Anna, I was like, ‘Anna, what do your grandchildren call you?’ And she said to me, ‘Anna.’ And I was like, well that is very elegant, so maybe I’ll take that route.”
But fear not, grandma enthusiasts, Victoria hasn’t ruled out the possibility entirely. With a cheeky grin, she added, “But it’s not happening just yet. But, you know, hopefully one day if I am blessed, then that would be wonderful. But we’re not there just yet!”
