Travis Kelce, the proud little bro, showed up to cheer on his big bro Jason Kelce at his retirement shindig.
On a fine Monday (March 4), Jason, now a ripe old 36, officially declared he’s hanging up his NFL boots after 13 seasons of being the Philly Eagles’ center stage star.
During this grand announcement, Jason got all mushy-gushy talking about his bromance with Travis, who was caught on camera dabbing away tears like he just watched the end of “Titanic” for the hundredth time. And guess who else was there? Yup, mom and pop Kelce, Ed and Donna, beaming with pride in the audience.
“It was like a buddy cop movie, but with more bickering,” Jason blubbered, his voice cracking like an old vinyl record. “We were joined at the hip, doing everything together – competing, arguing, giggling, sobbing, and occasionally learning something from each other.”
“We were like two kids in a candy store, dreaming big dreams,” Jason continued, his eyes misting up like a fog machine at a cheesy ’80s dance party. “We’d imagine ourselves as gridiron gods, scoring touchdowns left and right. We had more Super Bowl wins in our heads than Tom Brady has rings. And when we weren’t busy being armchair quarterbacks, we were each other’s biggest cheerleaders.”
Oh, and let’s not forget about Jason’s wifey, Kylie Kelce, making an appearance too, probably just to make sure he didn’t forget his own name in all the excitement.
