Tori Spelling has something to say about all those “who does she look like?” comments swirling around.
In the latest laugh-out-loud episode of her “misSPELLING” podcast, which dropped on Saturday (June 22), the 51-year-old Beverly Hills 90210 icon decided to tackle the hilariously harsh comparisons head-on. Apparently, the internet thinks she’s channeling her inner Wendy Williams and the characters from the comedy classic “White Chicks.”
“Hit me with your best shot. Ask me anything. Say anything. Seriously, I’ve got a rhino’s hide over here,” Tori declared. “Yes, I read the comments — I’m human, not a robot. But I can laugh at myself too.”
Cue the producer, ready to stir the pot, who read out a zinger: “Tori looks like a white Wendy Williams.”
With a chuckle, Tori replied, “Oh, you’re not the first to say that! Honestly, I think Wendy Williams is pretty fab. Sure, she’s thrown some shade my way before, but hey, pretty is pretty, right? Although now, thanks to you guys, I can’t unsee it!”
She confessed that the comparison initially left her puzzled, saying, “When I first saw that comment, I was like, ‘What now?’ But then it clicked, and I thought, ‘Well, darn, they might be onto something!’”
Tori even reminisced about a bizarre moment of validation from her five kids when Wendy Williams once wrongly claimed, “Tori Spelling has Ebola.”
“They were all like, ‘Mom, you’ve made it!’” Tori laughed, shaking her head at the memory.
Later in the episode, Tori tackled another cheeky comparison: the infamous undercover duo from the 2004 movie “White Chicks,” where Marlon and Shawn Wayans play Black FBI agents disguised as white women.
“People say I look like Marlon and Shawn Wayans in ‘White Chicks,’ and I’m like, ‘Touché,’” Tori admitted with a grin.
