TLC rang in 2025 with a medley so good, it probably caused a few resolutions to be broken immediately. Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas and Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins brought their A-game (and possibly some glittery outfits) to the stage of Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest. And boy, did they rock it!
A Hit Parade Like No Other 🎶
The dynamic duo treated the audience to a chef’s kiss lineup of their greatest hits, including:
– “Chasin’ Waterfalls” (Still not chasing them, by the way, because who has the cardio for that?)
– “No Scrubs” (Sorry, guys in passenger seats, you’re still benched in 2025.)
– “Creep” (A timeless anthem for anyone who texts “Hey” at 2 a.m.)
If you weren’t dancing in your living room, you’re either lying or your Wi-Fi betrayed you.
Times Square Nostalgia with a Side of Feels 🗽❤️
Before the performance, Chilli got real about their last visit to Times Square following the tragic passing of Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes. She described the experience as “bittersweet” — like the emotional equivalent of eating a sour candy while watching The Notebook.
“It was amazing to celebrate Lisa, but also horrible because she wasn’t with us,” Chilli told TMZ. Cue all the tears. But if Left Eye were here, she’d probably be hyping them up with a megaphone and a pair of iconic goggles.
Stage Fright? Not for These Legends 🙌
Despite being absolute pros, Chilli admitted that they still get the jitters before hitting the stage. “When you still love it like that, the fans know,” she said. And judging by the crowd’s energy, the fans definitely knew.
Between the electric vibes, the iconic tracks, and Chilli and T-Boz’s pure joy, the performance was like a New Year’s Eve firework show for the soul.
Missed It? Don’t Worry!
You can check out their full performance online because nobody should start 2025 without a little TLC in their life. Trust us, it’s better than any champagne toast.
Here’s to 2025: a year full of less scrubs, more creeps (the good kind), and absolutely no chasing of waterfalls. 🥂
