Stop the presses, alert the paparazzi, and someone check if Mercury’s in retrograde—Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have finally emerged from their celebrity cocoon after nearly two months of laying lower than your WiFi signal during a power outage.
On Sunday, May 11 (aka International Brunch With Your Mom Day), the “Love Story” megastar and the Kansas City Chiefs’ resident tight end (and Swiftie-approved boyfriend), both fabulously 35, were spotted celebrating Mother’s Day in Philadelphia—a.k.a. the land of cheesesteaks, brotherly love, and Jason Kelce in flip-flops.
The dynamic duo dined at Talula’s Garden, a restaurant that sounds like a cottagecore dream but serves real food and not just aesthetic vibes. According to TikTok spy—I mean, creator—@_theblackdogstan, the couple was seen breaking bread (and likely splitting a very photogenic salad) with Travis’s mom Donna Kelce, his brother Jason “No Shirt, No Problem” Kelce, and Jason’s wife Kylie, who is basically the queen of keeping the Kelce men in line.
Let’s talk fashion, because duh. Taylor rocked a black tank top and matching bag, giving us “I just threw this on and still look like I own three Grammys” energy. Travis, meanwhile, wore a cream-colored shirt and debuted some impressively extra hair, which fans are already calling “The Swift Effect.” Seriously, the man’s follicles are thriving.
The pair has been pretty M.I.A. since February, following the Chiefs’ unfortunate Super Bowl loss—which we won’t mention again because it’s still too soon. Their last public appearance together was in March in New York City, when they probably made every couple within a five-mile radius look boring by comparison.
But now? They’re back. And if hanging with your boyfriend’s mom on Mother’s Day isn’t peak “Yes, we’re still madly in love,” then what is?
Wanna hear the best part? Donna Kelce probably got both a hug and free dessert out of the deal. Queen behavior.
