SZA’s taking a timeout! The 34-year-old Grammy-winner and modern-day enchantress of “Kill Bill” just dropped the news like a hot potato. After her Montreal concert on August 4th, she’s hitting the pause button on her tour.
In a dramatic social media post (probably with a dramatic sigh included), she said, “Yesterday was my last show for a while. Finally bout to get my life together thank u God.” Clearly, she’s planning to do some serious life-organizing and maybe finally figure out how to fold a fitted sheet.
Before taking this well-deserved break, SZA was globe-trotting like a pro, charming crowds from London to Dublin, and even making waves at Lollapalooza 2024 in Chicago. Because, you know, she’s a rock star and all that jazz.
But wait, there’s more! SZA isn’t disappearing completely. She’s still got two gigs lined up in the Middle East come November, with stops in Bahrain and the UAE. Because apparently, her sense of geography is as adventurous as her music career.
Earlier this summer, she hinted she was ready for a break on June 29th, writing, “I need a beach n some rubs statt.” Translation: “I need a beach and someone to give me a massage stat.”
And here’s a fun twist: SZA is teaming up with Keke Palmer for a buddy comedy movie produced by the same guys who brought us the hilarious series *Rap Sh!t*. So, if you’ve been missing their magic, don’t worry—these two are about to bring the laughs to a screen near you!
