Looks like Sean “Diddy” Combs is getting the full “celebrity behind bars” experience—complete with a VIP hospital visit!
The 55-year-old rap mogul, currently living that less-than-luxurious life at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center, reportedly made a little field trip to the hospital last Thursday (January 30). The reason? Knee pain. That’s right—Diddy’s knees apparently decided they’d had enough of jail floors, prison-issued footwear, and whatever version of yoga he’s attempting in his cell.
According to TMZ, his visit was shrouded in more mystery than one of his old music videos. The New York Post even claims he was transported “under cover of darkness,” like a top-secret spy mission—because nothing screams “dangerous fugitive” like a man with sore knees.
When asked about the situation, Diddy’s lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, basically hit reporters with the classic “no comment” move, refusing to spill the tea on his client’s whereabouts or medical drama.
This latest development comes after Diddy was denied bail for a third time back in November—because, apparently, the judge isn’t convinced that “I’ll be good, I promise” is a solid legal defense.
Meanwhile, Diddy’s kids have been standing by their dad, previously releasing a statement clapping back at “conspiracy theories” surrounding him.
As for the main event, Diddy’s sex trafficking trial is set to kick off on May 5th, where he’s already pleaded not guilty. In the meantime, he might want to add some glucosamine to his commissary list—those knees are gonna need all the support they can get.
