Scooter Braun, the guy who bought Taylor Swift’s masters and gave Swifties a collective aneurysm, decided to dip his toes into politics. Because why just ruin someone’s discography when you can also stir up political drama, right?
At the ripe age of 43, Scooter is making waves again, this time endorsing Kamala Harris for the 2024 election. But that’s not the funny part (yet). The real kicker? He did it right after Donald Trump decided to throw a digital temper tantrum aimed at, you guessed it, Taylor Swift.
“I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!” Trump declared on Truth Social, presumably after listening to “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” one too many times and realizing, well, he was definitely not getting back together with Taylor. (Rumor has it, Mar-a-Lago doesn’t vibe with 1989.)
Scooter, being the internet troll we didn’t know we needed, quickly jumped in with a screenshot of Trump’s outburst, adding the cheeky caption: “Shake it off, Donald,” referencing Swift’s anthem for anyone who needs to brush off negativity—like, say, an ex-president losing it on social media. Oh, and for good measure, he threw in “Kamala 2024,” because if you’re already causing chaos, might as well go all in.
Somebody call Netflix—this saga needs a limited series.
