Sam Asghari is giving us the scoop on life post-Britney, and it’s a rollercoaster of hilarity!
The 30-year-old actor and the 42-year-old pop queen hit the brakes on their marriage in August 2023, just a smidgen under a year after saying “I do.” They wrapped up their divorce earlier this year, and now Sam’s spilling the tea.
In a chat with Us Weekly, Sam dished on his post-Britney education. Turns out, he took a crash course in Hollywood’s cruel and unusual practices.
“It was like a free seminar on how wickedly wild Hollywood can be,” Sam confessed. “And nope, I’m not throwing shade at Britney. I’m just saying I learned how to survive in a land where the drama is real and the coffee is always too hot.”
When it comes to his time with Britney, Sam’s all about celebrating the past. “I’m like a walking, talking gratitude machine,” he said. “I’m always in the mood to give a high-five to yesteryear and remember all the good times.”
So, is Sam dating? Brace yourself for this plot twist: “Right now, I’m dating someone who is extremely high-maintenance,” he joked. “I have to keep her nails polished, escort her to the dog park, serve her gourmet treats, and basically be her personal butler. She’s my dog, by the way.”
Instead of swiping right, Sam’s diving headfirst into work, which he says demands “100 percent” of his attention.
“My goals are the exact opposite of my personality,” he quipped. “So, for now, I’m all about my career. Dating? That’s a whole different season of the show, and I’m not even on that channel right now.”
