Post Malone Releases New Country Album ‘F-1 Trillion’

Buy Me A Coffee

Post Malone just swapped his rap game for a rodeo of twang! On Friday, August 16, our favorite face-tattooed troubadour dropped his sixth studio album, hilariously dubbed F-1 Trillion. Yes, thatโ€™s right, Post Malone is now officially the proud owner of a country album that sounds like it was recorded during a wild BBQ with Tim McGraw, Morgan Wallen, Dolly Parton, Jelly Roll, and a whole lineup of other country legends who probably never thought theyโ€™d be in the same room as Post Malone.

In an exclusive sit-down with Apple Music, Post Malone confessed heโ€™s been itching to dive into country music for ages but felt like he was trying to learn how to ride a bull in a room full of sheep. โ€œI knew I wanted to do this country thing for a while,โ€ he said, looking like heโ€™d just discovered a new flavor of ice cream. โ€œBut it felt like trying to find my way out of a maze blindfoldedโ€”except the maze was filled with banjos and cowboy boots. I didnโ€™t get how it all worked, like what was a band day? And how do you even get one of those session dudes to stop by? I kept wondering, โ€˜Is this the kind of band you just stick with or do you get a new one each time?โ€™โ€

Post then went on about his experience meeting the Nashville crewโ€”Derek Wells, Larry Franklin, Paul Franklin, Craig Young, Dave Cohen, and Aaron Sterlingโ€”sounding like a kid who just got invited to a superhero convention. โ€œI met all these amazing people and it was like, wow, this is so cool!โ€ he said, possibly while doing a happy dance in his new cowboy boots.

In other news, Post Malone also gave a rare glimpse into his personal life, mentioning his fiancรฉe and their adorable 2-year-old daughter. Apparently, theyโ€™re still living the dream, and Postโ€™s life now involves a lot more twang and a lot fewer face tattoosโ€”well, maybe not the tattoos part.

So, if youโ€™re ready to hear Post Maloneโ€™s take on country music, saddle up and download F-1 Trillion on iTunes or stream it on Spotify. Yeehaw!
